Design of
Panvel bypass - part of Mumbai Pune Expressway
Mr. Amol Khair was Team Leader for undertaking the Engineering
Surveys for the Panvel bypass, which is about 11 km long.
The deign of the Panvel bypass was entrusted to M/S. Technogem
Consultants, and the assignment of Highway engineer was
undertaken in association with Technogem Consultants.
Design
of fly over at Love Grove intersection & Cloverleaf
Interchange at Mahim junction as part of Bandra- Worli
Sea - Link project for Severdrup Civil Inc.
The
design of horizontal/ and vertical alignment for the Love
groove flyover under this project was undertaken.
The first three legged cloverleaf interchanges was designed
for
the project at Mahim. The design of horizontal Vertical
profile was responsibility of Shri. Amol S. Khair as
highway
Engineer.
Preliminary
design and cost estimates for Bangalore - Mysore Expressway
The design
of highway alignments, interchanges and the toll plaza
along with the preparation of preliminary
cost estimation
was undertaken by Shri. Amol S. Khair in association
with Clique Consultants, Mumbai for Nandi Infrastructure
Corridor
projects, Bangalore.
Design and
cost estimates for the widening and strengthening of Satara-Patan
hill
road 65 km long
Shri. Amol
Khair was Team leader for the survey, design & cost-estimation
of 5.5 m wide hill road passing through Sahyadri
ranges. The work involved Engineering surveys, land acquisition
surveys,
and preparation of BOQ and preparation of tender
document for the project.
Pavement
Evaluation Studies for Pimari-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation
Shri. Amol
Khair has undertaken the Pavement Evaluation for the 12
major roads in P.C.M.C
area. The study
involved axle
load surveys, pavement deflection surveys,
In- situ CBR surveys and the design of pavements
on the basis
of the
surveys results.
The recommendations for the Pavement overlays,
Capacity augmentation, quality control procedures
to be adopted
etc. were part of
the study.
Engineering
and Land acquisition Surveys for the Satara- Kolhapur Section
of NH-4
Shri. Amol
Khair was Team Leader and undertook the engineering Surveys,
geo-technical
investigations and preparation
of Land acquisitions proposals of above-mentioned
section of NH-4. The section has been
considered as the part
of
the
Golden Quadrangle Project. The section
was 24 Km long.
Earthquake
Rehabilitation and Reconstruction for 6 towns in Kutch
The work of
infrastructure design and Supervision was entrusted to
Tata Consulting
Engineers
by Gujarat Urban
Development
Corporation. Asian Development Bank
is funding the project. Mr. Amol
Khair is
a team member
in the professional
team,
and key specialist working as Senior
Transportation/ Highway Engineer.
Integrated
road Development Programme for Nandurbar City
The integrated
road development programme for Nandurbar City has
been undertaken
by Maharashtra
State Road
Development Corporation. The
design consultancy of the road improvement
was entrusted to Technogem Consultants
Pvt. Ltd. Thane. The
job of Engineering surveys and
Pavement investigation works
for about 25
Km of
roads in the Nandurbar
City were entrusted
to AAKAR Enterprises. Mr. Amol
S. Khair has worked as a Team
leader for this
survey team.
The Plans,
L- sections,
cross-
sections of these roads have
been prepared and under submission
to Technogem Consultants.
Integrated
road Development Programme for Sholapur City
The integrated
road development programme for Sholapur City
has been undertaken
by Maharashtra
State Road
Development Corporation.
The design consultancy of the road
improvement
was entrusted to AAKAR Enterprises,
Navi-
Mumbai. The job of Engineering
surveys, Pavement investigations,
preparation
of road widening proposals,
cost estimates, preparation
of
bid documents for the road
improvement programme has
been undertaken by AAKAR
Enterprises for about 24 Km of road
in the Solapur City. The
road includes about 4 roads in Solapur
Municipal limits and four
roads of
State PWD, Maharashtra. Amol
S.
Khair is a
team leader
for this survey
and engineering design team.
